Research & Advocacy
Using evidence-based research and strategic advocacy to drive policy reform, strengthen legal protections, and expand opportunities for marginalized youth across Kyrgyzstan.
Evidence for Change
Sustainable change in social protection requires not just front-line services, but also a rigorous understanding of the systems, barriers, and policies that shape young people’s lives. Oasis Foundation’s Research and Advocacy programme generates the evidence needed to drive meaningful reform at the national level.
Our team conducts in-depth studies, legal analyses, and participatory research with marginalized communities: translating findings into policy recommendations, advocacy campaigns, and capacity-building initiatives. We work directly with government ministries, parliamentary bodies, and international partners to advance legislative changes that expand protections for vulnerable youth and communities across Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia.
Research Focus Areas
- Child rights & child protection systems
- Gender-based violence & femicide prevention
- Human trafficking & labour migration
